What To Bring To Camp
MONEY:  Please bring enough money for the meal/snack stops to and from WFR.  There is a snack shop, espresso stand and a camp store at WFR. Please bring enough money for whatever you might want to buy while at camp. Campers typically spend between $5.00 and $10.00 a day.

Summer temperatures at WFR average in the 90’s, so be sure to bring a beach towel, sunscreen and sunglasses. There can be a lot of mosquitoes, so you might want to bring some repellent.  A water bottle is also a great thing to have when it’s so hot!
CLOTHING: There are no laundry facilities, so think this through! You will need casual clothes like jeans, shorts, tennis shoes, lots of T-shirts, and a jacket and/or sweater as the evenings are cool.  Bring your swimsuit.  You will also need grubby clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty during night (pants & sweatshirt) and day (shorts & t-shirt) activities.
LUGGAGE: You may bring ONE suitcase and ONE carry-on bag (like a backpack).  Please mark each of your bags CLEARLY with your name. Only pack what you can carry. You do not need to bring a sleeping bag, linens, blankets or regular towels.  They are provided!

ELECTRONICS: You may bring your phone and or tablet for traveling, but when you reach WFR it will be kept in the office until your trip home.  All electronic devices will be collected and returned on the day of departure. Please inform your family that they will not be able to reach you on your cell phone.  (There is no cell service at Washington Family Ranch.) If you want to take pictures, bring a camera that isn't a cell phone or tablet.
What shouldn’t I bring because I will be sent home at my parent's expenses?
